tonights wind down after work bit of 3d and a bit of paint and some vfx. just wanted something a bit more dramatic and a more fierce than usual 🙂

Bit of fun last from last night. had a studio day yesterday, I was at the BBC for a bit and then popped over to see the wonderful folk at MI in Manchester. pretty productive day. managed to get this done as a bit of a wind down.

So I made this ship, had no idea what to do with it, which happens sometimes, sometimes its the other way around, so thought id have a mess with some of the new brushes I got. it was just the ship and landscape but then I thought putting some poor chap behind a rock might give it a bit more story :0
stopping the illegal immigrants crossing the border
Watches Sicaro the other night and had the idea of the border patrol of the not too distant future stopping these giant mech creatures from crossing into mainland USA.

so carrying on with the war of the worlds, I always remember this part when the Martians reveal their true intent , I’ve kept this fairly low key, id sooner the viewer add there imagination to what happens to him.
