Hey ReyShelley. Thanks for the lovely comments again! So i use a few things,mostly 3dsmax for the ships and these are renderd out in mental ray and then the background and character work is painted up photoshop. This one has some photo bashing in it for the water running off the ship ,whatever it takes as i say lol.hope this answers your question
